Pixel Federation finally explores the Chinese market

After a long journey, Pixel Federation is finally launching one of its greatest hits - the puzzle free to play game Diggy’s Adventure in China. This step is a great milestone for the company and also a huge opportunity to increase their influence worldwide.
Diggy’s Adventure has been on the market for 8 years. Over 43 millions of players have already played the game since its very beginning and the community is constantly growing. The game is currently available in 27 languages including the recently added Chinese language.
The expansion into the Chinese market began to evolve in November 2017 when Pixel Federation teamed up with the company MyGamez which specializes in foreign games publishing in China. They walked the devs through multiple challenges, being it legal or technical.
Available for iOS
For now, Pixel Federation decided to release the app for iOS devices only. Absence of Google Play makes it a little more challenging to publish an app on Chinese Android due to the need of finding a publisher, but according to the spokesperson of Pixel Federation, they are already communicating with possible partners to bring the game to Android as well.
Bespoked user's experience
In order to provide the best possible experience to the Chinese players, the devs have translated the game into simplified Chinese and adjusted several graphical assets to their expected taste.
They were guided by a government agency and also by their friends from MyGamez throughout the whole process.
At the moment, the Chinese version of Diggy’s Adventure contains just the Egyptian region, but further regions and Live Ops are planned to be added in the near future.
Diggy’s Adventure is ready to expand
“We are very excited to bring our most popular game to Chinese players and we hope to steal their hearts! China is a huge and fast growing market and we are proud to become a part of it. It was a very long journey, but we are thrilled to look for new opportunities,”
Filip Polasek, producer of Diggy’s Adventure.
Diggy’s Adventure offers its players 7 exciting regions of gameplay.
“We are ready to flexibly address the Chinese market’s requirements in order to deliver the game to the broadest audience possible,” continues the developer.
