Mrs. Wilma and Charlie simply love spring and that’s why they decided to return to TrainStation again! This time, they not only bring along some cool quests but also something special - their favorite Easter recipes.

Will you try them out?

Charlie’s chocolate truffles

There’s never enough of chocolate, right? Each year, I make ton of these yummy truffles and send them to my friends to celebrate the arrival of spring.

If baking is not your thing, then this is the right treat for you - they are easy to make and yet super tasty!

truffles

INGREDIENTS:

300 g of chocolate

165 ml of heavy cream

1 tsp of cinnamon

4 tbsp of cocoa powder

Toppings of your choice (chopped nuts, melted white chocolate, shredded coconut, etc.)

PREPARATION:

  • Chop the chocolate into fine pieces

  • Warm up the heavy cream in a small pot (but don’t boil it!)

  • Pour the heavy cream onto the mixed chocolate and add cinnamon, BUT: don’t stir it yet! Cover it with a foil and leave it melt for a few minutes.

  • Mix the chocolate with the cream afterwards and put it in the fridge for about 1-2 hours (until it’s solid)

  • Using a tablespoon, scoop the mixture and roll it into balls.

  • Roll the truffles into your favorite toppings and leave them set overnight

Share them with your beloved ones or just eat them all - no shame in that either!

Wilma’s spring salad

Mr. Bill and I aren’t the biggest fans of salads but this one rocks! It’s super easy yet incredibly fresh and yummy. Trust me, you’re gonna love it!
